Forest Plan Amendment for Wildland Fire Managment.Forest Plan Amendments UnderwayThe Carson National Forest has served as a land steward for this area since 1982 and has operated under the direction of a multiple use area guide. We are now beginning the process of amending our Forest Plan to include a specific vision, desired condition, management goals and direction for the Valle Vidal. The purpose of this amendment is to provide clear management direction for the Valle Vidal. It is essential that we have a solid vision of the desired future for the Valle Vidal. Such a foundation is essential as the backdrop for any and all future proposals.

Schedule of Proposed Actions
This Schedule of Proposed Actions for the Carson National Forest, provides you a list of all Forest Service proposals undergoing NEPA analysis at this time or in the near future that may impact the Carson National Forest, so you can be involved if you choose. Check the types of proposals that interest you. If you would like to be involved in the planning of a proposed project or projects, we encourage you to participate early in the process. To receive specific information about any of the proposals, please contact the individual listed at the office handling the analysis.
Please note: If project implementation is under way or if a proposal
has been dropped from consideration, it will be kept on the schedule one
more time before being removed.
