Mogollon Campground

Access:

Four miles north of State Highway 260 towards Woods Canyon Lake on Forest Road 300. Forest Road 300 is located directly across from the Rim Visitor Information Station or 25 miles west of Heber, AZ.

Elevation:

7,515 feet above sea level.

Season:

Generally first of May to end of October. Earlier or later depending upon weather.

Facilities:

Features and Setting:

The campground is approximately 2 miles from Woods Canyon Lake which offers boating (electric motors only) and fishing opportunities. The Rim Lakes Vista Trail which provides spectacular views of the Mogollon Rim is approximately 1/2 mile away. The campground is located among the ponderosa pines.
