Lower Juan Miller Campground

Access:

Lower Juan Campground is located 27 miles North of Clifton, AZ, via US Highway 191 and Forest Road 475. Just 1/4 mile away from the Upper Juan Miller CG.

Elevation:

5,740 feet above sea level

Season:

January through December, unless access road is closed by snow

Facilities:

4 family units
Tents, trailers and motorhomes up to 16 foot
4 tables with grills
Trash cans
2 vault toilets

Fee:

No fees

Features and Setting:

Shaded by large Gambel oak and sycamore trees, this campground is lightly used. It also has some remnants of times gone past. What looks like an old, hand dug cistern well can be seen north of the campground.

Notes:

No drinking water available.
