Rolfe C. Hoyer Campground
Hoyer will be on a first come, first serve basis for the remainder of 2009 season. Access: Hoyer Campground is located 2 miles north of Greer on State Highway 373, across from the Greer Lakes. Elevation: 8,300 feet above sea level. Season: From mid-May through September. Facilities:

Features and Setting: Situated among the Ponderosa pine, Hoyer is one of the most popular campgrounds for families and seniors. It is located near the resort town of Greer which offers many activities during the day and restaurants at night. The Greer Lakes and the Little Colorado River are within walking distance for avid anglers. Interpretative programs are offered at the amphitheater and hosted nature walks occur throughout the summer. Visitors should be prepared for rain, often heavy, through July and August. Also expect cool to cold nighttime temperatures. Notes:
