Smoking and Campfire Restrictions
Campfire and smoking restrictions are in effect and includes the area between Forest Road 300 and the edge of the Mogollon Rim and an area immediately south of Highway 260 bordered by the Young Road (Forest Road 512) on the east and the Mogollon Rim on the south and west (delineated on map by shaded area). Inside these areas campfires are not allowed (including charcoal fires) and smoking is not allowed except within a vehicle or if standing in a cleared area three feet in diameter.

Promontory Butte Closed to Public Access
Promontory Butte area adjacent to Forest Road 300 is closed to public entry due to high fire danger and the lack of a safe route of travel in the event of a wildfire (delineated on map by cross-hatched area).
