Access

Chapman Campground is located adjacent to the FryingpanRiver, 38 milese East of Carbondale. If you are an angler, the lower Fryingpan is classified as a gold medal water by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. There is also a small reservoir located within the campground. The campground is located in a beautiful setting. It is at the base of a wide valley and is surrounded by, and filled with, lodgepole pine trees.

Camping units for auto and trailer, pickup campers, motor homes and tents.

Water available from faucets in the main campground.

Vault type toilets.

Camping units have tables and benches, firerings and parking spurs.

Graveled campground roads.

Sites 15-20 and 42-83 on reservation system. Call 1-877-444-6777 for reservations.
