* Silver Bar campground is located 5 miles southwest of Aspen Colorado on the Maroon Creek Road.

Fishing & Trails:

Access to fishing areas and trails is available.

Important Information:

* This campground has a 5 day stay limit. Check out time is 2:00 p.m.

* There is an 8 person, two car limit per campsite.

* Pets must be on a leash at all times while visiting campgrounds AND within designated Wilderness. The leash should not exceed 6 feet in length.

* Camping is permitted in developed campgrounds and/or designated campsites only.

* This area provides access to the Maroon Bells - Snowmass Wilderness. Please obey all Wilderness regualtions.

* The Maroon Valley shuttle bus runs daily from the middle of June through Labor Day and weekends through the rest of September. Maroon Creek Road is closed to thru traffic from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in conjunction with the shuttle bus. Those camping in developed sites in the Maroon Valley must purchase a 5 day vehicle pass ($10) to drive to their designated campground at the entrance station across from the Silver Bar Campground.
