Location
Twenty miles north of Bayfield, Pine Point Campground is 1/2 mile
north of North Canyon Campground on Forest Rd. 603, at the middle
of the lake.
Facilities
The 30 shady sites include several pull-through and larger sites
for trailers and RVs. Some are near the water, but the area is not
well protected for mooring boats.
Water, trash pickup, tables, fireplaces (firewood available, you
gather), ample parking, and vault toilets. Operated by concessionaire.
Attractions & Considerations
There are good views of the high peaks to the northwest.
A sheltered area for boats and an open play area are just south
of the campground.
The only commercial development on the east side of the reservoir
is the resorts just north of Pine Point. They have most camper services,
but gasoline is not available.
