The morning program will feature a youth panel on connecting with the outdoors and multimedia presentations on inspirational success stories and promising practices. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to participate in two hour-long facilitated, breakout discussion sessions. Breakout session topics will include the following:
• Child’s Outdoor Bill of Rights
• Connecting Through Media
• Trails: Access to the Great Outdoors• Youth & Outdoor Exploration
• Getting Fit Outdoors
• Youth Stewardship Through Restoration
Lunch will be available for $10.00 per person, if paid in advance, or $12.00 at the door. Send checks to Attn: Debra Herzer, 31320 N. Castaic Road, Castaic, CA, 91384 and payable to “County of Los Angeles Dept. of Parks & Recreation.” Please indicate if you will be purchasing lunch when you RSVP. Also, please let us know when you RSVP if you would like to bring a banner or request table space for handouts or posters about your organization and programs.
