Access

1) Northern terminus: To reach the northern access point for Power Line Trail drive approximately ten miles west of the small town of Sedalia on Highway 67. The trail begins immediately south of the entrance to Indian Creek Campground.

2) Southern terminus: Travel approximately ten miles west of Sedalia on Highway 67 to the Rampart Range Road. Turn left (south) on the Rampart Range Road for approximately eight and one-half miles to the Cabin Ridge Picnic Ground. Approximately .25 miles before the road to the picnic ground is a parking lot. Use this for access to Power Line Trail.

Narrative

Power Line Trail, #690, follows power lines that run parallel to Rampart Range Road. The trail leads north-south for 7.7 miles from Highway 67 to Cabin Ridge Picnic Ground. This route is a good connector trail, and alternative to riding on Rampart Range Road, for bikes that aren't street legal.

The US Forest Service asks that you TREAD LIGHTLY on public lands.
