Gold Camp Road & Tunnel #3 Planning / EIS Project

Draft Environmental Impact Statement


On Mon., Jan. 10, the Pikes Peak Ranger District of the U.S. Forest Service released, for public review and comment, the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Gold Camp Road and Tunnel #3 project. The release of the Draft EIS marked the beginning of a 60-day comment period which ends on March 15, 2005. The final plan/EIS and Record of Decision are expected in June 2005.
