Planning RuleThe Forest Planning Rule
The Forest Service is beginning an open, collaborative process to create and implement a new planning rule to guide land managers in developing, amending, and revising land management plans for the 155 national forests and 20 grasslands in the National Forest System. Notes are available from the initial round of public roundtable meetings regarding the development of a new Forest Service land management planning rule. The rule guides the revision or amendment of Forest Plans and Grassland Plans.
The roundtable meetings in the Rocky Mountain Region will be hosted in (see schedule below for more information):
