Here you will pick up your guide to the great outdoors adventures presented at City Park.  Prepare to rock climb, fish or become a Junior Ranger. Kids, make sure to have your parents sign a waiver here so you can participate in all the day's activities.

Get into the Outdoors IconGet into the Outdoors

Prepare for outdoor recreation adventures!  Choose to rock climb, mountain bike, canoe or even ski!  Challenge yourself to a low ropes course, learn how to set up a tent and pack for an outing.  Go birding or participate in a 5K or 10k Volksmarch.

Take a Family Fishing IconTake a Family Fishing

Have you ever wanted to experience the thrill of catching your first fish?  Come out to the lake, sign-up and learn all about fish and fishing.

Jr. Ranger Camp IconJr. Ranger Camp (ages 6-12)

Fun, excitement and more await you at the Junior Ranger Camp.  Come explore the great outdoors; learn outdoor skills; participate in an assortment of self-paced activities including geocaching; discover new things about wildlife, plants, minerals and more. Be sworn in as a Junior Ranger and receive an official badge, certificate and other fun items that will keep you active outdoors all year long!  

Woodsy Owl IconWoodsy's Wood (ages 2-5)

Children are never too young to begin exploring and discovering the natural world. At Woodsy's Wood they will have the opportunity to play games as they learn about nature through a host of hands-on activities. Woodsy Owl will be on hand for story-time, encouraging kids to care for the land.

Are you ready for a lifetime of exploration, discovery and outdoor adventure?  Get connected to scouting, boys and girls clubs and so many more!  Learn about volunteer organizations, youth corps and careers in the outdoors.
