Abstract:

Existing National Forest System Trails on the Pike National Forest, San Isabel National Forest, Comanche National Grassland in Colorado, and the Cimarron National Grassland in Kansas, combined with INFRA (infrastructure) table information. This is a linear event layer created from the master transportation route layer using the II_MVUM_TRAIL_ALLOW table from INFRA (Infrastructure; separate oracle database). It has attribute fields related to allowed motorized trail use and is the most appropriate layer to use when determining where motorized trail use is allowed on Forest/Grassland. Note that many of the trails in this layer are non-motorized and do not display on the MVUM map, only those trails that are motorized (see the individual attribute fields for the various types of motorized use) are displayed on the MVUM map.
Criteria for inclusion in this data layer "snapshot" are: Route Status = Ex - Existing and Jursidiction = FS - Forest Service, and System = NFST - National Forest System Trail
