- Abstract:

Existing National Forest System Roads on the Pike National Forest, San Isabel National Forest, Comanche National Grassland in Colorado, and the Cimarron National Grassland in Kansas, combined with INFRA (infrastructure) table information. This is a linear event layer created from the master road route layer using the II_MVUM_ROAD_ALLOW table from INFRA (Infrastructure; separate oracle database). It has attribute fields related to allowed motor vehicle use and is the most appropriate layer to use when determining where motorized vehicles are allowed to drive on forest/Grassland.
Criteria for inclusion in this data layer "snapshot" are: Route Status = Ex - Existing and Jursidiction = FS - Forest Service, and System = NFSR - National Forest System Road
- Purpose:
-
To display the existing network of National Forest System roads within the Forest/Grassland

This is a linear event layer that is not associated with a topology. It is re-created after edits are done to the master road route layer and/or after attributes are updated in the separate INFRA oracle database. Dangle arcs exist. Overlaps and self intersections may occur.
- Completeness_Report:

The Forest Service uses the most current and complete data it has available. GIS data products and accuracy may vary. They may be: developed from sources of differing accuracy, accurate only at certain scales, based on modeling or interpretation, incomplete while being created or revised, have represented features not in accurate geographic locations, etc...
