Season: The campground is normally open from April 1st
through October 31st. Reservations are available from the second
weekend of April through the end of September. Current
status: Closed
Daily Fee: $10/night for single unit and $14/night
for double unit
Reservations Accepted: Yes, reservations are accepted
for group sites and some of the individual family sites.
Services: Group camp sites, picnic site and most
family sites are ADA accessible. One double unit is available for
those with special needs. We ask that you leave this unit open until
all other spaces are filled. There are two accessible trails in
the campground. Water, trash collection and pit toilets are at the
recreation area. Group picnic site and education site have electricity.
There is a ball field, volleyball court and horseshoe pit in the
campground. Users must provide net, balls and horseshoes.
Sites: There are a total of ten units. Single
units hold five people. Double units hold ten people. Three group
sites hold 30 people each. (Hawk, Plover and Lark Sites) One group
tent-only site holds 100 people. (Education Site)

Location: From Ault, go 22 miles east on Highway
14, turn north on Weld County Road 77, travel 1/4 mile to campground entrance on the west side of the road.

by the Briggsdale Historical Society.
