Sitka Area Shelters North Neva Survival Shelter Description: This is a three-sided Adirondack shelter along northern Neva Straits. Location: The shelter is on the eastern shore of Partofshikof Island just before St. John Baptist Bay about 21 miles northwest of Sitka. Facilities: The shelter has a woodstove, plywood bunks and a small table. Rental Fee: None. Use is on a first-come, first-served basis.
