Logjam Timber Sale
In our effort to support the Administration's mandate for a more open and transparent government, we will be providing prominent updates on all parts of the Logjam Timber sale, as well as other relevant information about the Tongass Timber program. We will use our Twitter account (http://twitter.com/TongassNF) for alerts to these updates and other information. we will also issue timely news releases about the sale as it progresses through the NEPA timeline and reaches various milestones along the way.

Logjam Appeals
The Decision on the Logjam Timber Sale was made on June 11, 2009. As part of the appeals process, the public has until August 10 to file administrative appeals with the agency. The Regional Forester will consider the appeals and render a decision on how to proceed by September 24, 2009. We will post appeals here as we receive them.
