We strive to promote an awareness and appreciation of fisheries and aquatic resources. We promote conservation ethics and are educating a new generation of conservation leaders to provide for the future sustainability of our natural resources. |
We promote fish and aquatic resource education at various public meetings and with newspaper articles, interpretive signs along trails and at fish watching sites and partnering with local schools. These activities are aimed at providing the public with the necessary tools to become conservation leaders in their communities. |

We work with the local schools in support of the EcoVan and SCOPE (Students
Classifying, Observing and Probing their Environment ) programs.
We also work on projects like coho in the classroom, and provide
school classroom and field lectures. Our annual Kids Fishing
Day helps educate children about fish and fishing regulations. |
