Salmon Viewing

Chum and sockeye move into Juneau streams by mid-July, pink salmon start by early August, and coho by mid-September.

Steep Creek Salmon Viewing Platforms

Where: Mendenhall Glacier Vistor Center

What: Several platforms located along stream offering views of sockeye and coho salmon.
