Access: By boat 27 miles (43 km) or float plane 25 miles (40 km) west from Wrangell 
Terrain: Mountainous, covered primarily with Sitka spruce, western hemlock cedar rainforest; muskeg also common

Water available from small stream. Treat all water before using.
What to bring: Sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking stove, lantern, pots, pans, plates, utensils, food, toilet paper, garbage bags, fire extinguisher and fire starter. It's a good idea to bring your own water.
More information: Large rock outcroppings on beach surround cabin. Use caution when anchoring boat due to rocky shoreline. Occasionally poor weather can result in extended stays; cabin users should be prepared for this.

Wood stove for heat only

Special features: King salmon (May - July), silver salmon (Aug - Sept), halibut (June - Sept) in nearby saltwater. Clam digging, crabbing in Steamer Bay. Dolly Varden, pink salmon (July - Aug) in nearby Porcupine Creek.
