Description: 16' x 16' modified A-frame cabin with large skylight over dining area.and open sleeping loft with railing, reached by vertical ladder
Location: On a very small island about 30 miles (48 km) north of Sitka in Fish Bay on Baranof Island.

Access: 25-minute float plane flight or 1½-hour boat ride from Sitka 
Terrain: Cabin nestles just inside forest fringe above sandy beach.

No water source on island. Closest water source Baranof Island stream about ½ mile (.8 km) from cabin by boat. Treat all water before using.
What to bring: #1 diesel fuel (10 gallons for a 3-day stay), sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking stove, lantern, pots, pans, plates, utensils, food, toilet paper, garbage bags, fire extinguisher, fire starter, rubber boots, water.
More information: Mooring buoy available on first-come, first-served basis for boat anchorage. Buoy available to either cabin users or general forest users.

Firewood not provided for campfires.

DO NOT leave any food when vacating the cabin. Pack out what you bring in.

Cabin built in 1994 by volunteers from U.S. Coast Guard and group of local Sitka residents.

Special features: Large sandy beach, wildlife viewing, saltwater fishing and crabbing, and deer hunting in season.

Brown bear frequent the area.
