Access:  Typically boat; also floatplane (see Ketchikan tide tables)
Terrain: Flat with old-growth cedar, spruce, hemlock forest. Up to 50' of rocks, boulders exposed at low tide (no sandy beach).

  • 4 single plywood bunks
  • Table and benches
  • Wood stove (wood is provided, but not guaranteed)
  • Cooking counter, shelves, cupboard space
  • Broom
  • Outhouse toilet
  • Axe, maul, splitting wedges
  • Mooring buoy

Water available from creek. Treat all water before using. Cabin condition report
What to bring: Sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking stove, lantern, pots, pans, plates, utensils, food, toilet paper, garbage bags and fire starter. It's a good idea to bring your own water.
More information: Unimproved boat ramp at nearby Polk Inlet for launching small craft to reach cabin. Mooring buoy in cove available on first-come, first-served basis. Mooring more than one vessel allowed if first party there agrees.
Special features: Bottom fishing, salmon trolling off 20 Fathom Bank. Cove used as anchorage by commercial, pleasure boats. Numerous small lakes in hills behind cabin. Waterfalls in nearby coves. Bear, deer hunting. Spiral Cove (north) known for scenery.
