Float plane or boat at certain stages of the
tide. Use extreme care boating through Indian
Creek Rapids and Lake Bay Creek. These areas can be extremely
dangerous and should not be attempted except at high slack
tide, about 1½ hours after high tide (Ketchikan
tide tables).

Good crabbing, fishing. Scenic boating
through Gold and Galligan Lagoon to Sweetwater Lake. Migratory
waterfowl, Sitka black-tailed deer, black bear. Excellent
silver salmon fishing in Barnes Lake
mid-August to
late-September. |
