January, 2010 - Sanders County Historical Society exhibit located in the First Security Bank in Thompson Falls, Montana begins. Will move to the Jailhouse Museum in Thompson Falls, Montana beginning in May.

May 20-22, Inland Empire Society of American Foresters Spring Meeting, Wallace, Idaho - Theme: 1910 Fires and impact on Forest Management
Opens May 29: Staff House Museum, Exhibit "Summer of Fires: Letters Home", Opens Memorial Day weekend, visiting hours daily, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm; 820 McKinley Ave., Kellogg, Idaho. To schedule school tours (in late April or May) and for other information call (208) 786-4141. The museum exhibit will be open through the end of September.
May 2010: Pulaski - 1910 Fire Exhibit opens at the Wallace District Mining Museum.
This exhibit is a joint endeavor of the Wallace District Mining Museum, the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, the Pulaski Project, and the Idaho Association of Museums. There will be a spekers program beginning in May through August 2010, dates to be determined. Scheduled are Steve Matz, IPNF Heritage Manager, to give two presentations on the Pulaski archeological dig. Stan Cohen, Pictorial Histories Publishing Company, is to give a presentation and book signing on "The Big Burn." Jim McReynolds, Executive Director of the Wallace District Mining Museum, will speak on "The 1910 Fire -- The Wallace Experience."

August 21-22, Savenac/Mineral County, Montana Commemoration events including memorial grove at nursery planted to honor 1910 fallen firefighters along with CCC reunion
September 19-23, 50th Anniversary of Fire Lab
October 24-29, International Association of Wildland Fire Conference, Spokane, WA.
3rd Fire Behavior and Fuels Conterence "Beyond Fire Behavior and Fuels: Learning from the Past to Help Guide Us in the Future". Held at the Red Lion Hotel at the Park.
