With cooperation from the US Forest Service, the Central Montana Astronomy Society hosts its monthly star party, a star-gazing experience with large telescopes set up for public viewing, and interesting explanations of the features being viewed. The Lewis and Clark Expedition relied on celestial observation to chart their course. Learn more about our night sky. The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center Winter schedule hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m., and closed Mondays from October 1, 2009, through April 30, 2010.
