Lewis and Clark Pasl Tour

Welcome to a virtual hiking tour of the Lewis and Clark Pass trail. Long before Lewis traveled through here on his 1806 eastward journey, this trail and pass were used by American Indians. For thousands of years, people journeyed along the Buffalo Road Trail. To learn more about the trail and its travelers, click on any of the map buttons or choose from a list of topics below the map. Continue your "tour" by selecting the map button to return to this page or by clicking on the arrow buttons to go to the next page or return to the previous page. We hope you enjoy the virtual tour and one day have the chance to hike the trail in person. For more information about the trail, contact the Lincoln Ranger District at (406) 362-4265.
