District Office Project |
The
Forest Service, Custer National Forest, Sioux Ranger District
is proposing to have a new single story energy efficient office
building constructed on the administrative site in Camp Crook,
Harding County, SD. A new parking area would also be constructed.
Site drainage would also be addressed for the office and parking
area.
This project is located in T18N, R1E, Section 2, SW1/4. Figure
1 shows the vicinity of Camp Crook in Harding County, SD and the
proposed new office location. Approximately 2 acres of National
Forest System lands would be disturbed by these projects. The
new parking area would be built after the removal of current building
through sale or demolition.
This project would be expected to be implemented starting in
2010.
