Reva Gap Campground Project

The Sioux Ranger District, Custer National Forest is proposing to upgrade existing camping sites and build additional camping sites at the Reva Gap Campground. The proposed project area is located in the Reva Gap Campground, T18N; R8E Sections 7, 8, 17 and 18, Black Hills Meridian. This campground is located in the Slim Buttes Land Unit of the Sioux Ranger District. The project is expected to be implemented over the next five years.

Based on our preliminary analysis, I have determined that the proposed action will not have a significant effect on the quality of the human environment based on the context and intensity of the impacts (40 CFR 1508.27).

The EA and FONSI are not decision documents and a final decision has not yet been made on this project.
