Clearwater National Forest GIS Library

Listed below are the main Geographical Information System digital maps (9.3 geodatabases and shapefiles), associated data tables and meta data as indicated. The geodatabases contain all the information for that subject area, so, if you download the geodatabase, there is no need to download the shapefiles or tables.

Meta data files will provide file name, scale, contacts, code definitions, items and other details. Please refer to it for the latest update of the data. Metadata is included with the geodatabases and shapefiles as part of the zip files.

The mdb and shapefiles are zipped for download. The table column links contain zipped dbf files as described.

If you have trouble downloading some of the larger files we can mail selected data to you on a CD but there may be a cost involved depending on the scope of the request and your affiliation.
