Campground: LAIRD PARK
Directions: The campground is located in North Central Idaho, 15 miles east of Potlatch on State Highway 6. Turn east off highway onto road #477 and travel three miles to the park entrance.
Total Sites: 31 campsites, swim area, and 2 group picnic areas (picnic areas require reservations)
Campground Services Provided to Hosts: The host site is located near the entrance and has electric and sewer hookups and water. A cellular phone, propane, and ATV trailer are provided as well. A subsistence allowance of $19.00 per day (5 days/week) is paid to one individual.
Host Duties: Provides personalized Forest Service presence in Laird Park Campground. Makes visitor contacts, answers questions, and assists campground users when necessary. Observes visitors and informs them if they are violating rules or regulations. Reminds campground users of Fee requirements, but is not responsible for fee monitoring (compliance). Assists district personnel maintain the campground. This includes keeping the eight toilets clean and stocked with toilet paper, mowing lawns, clearing tables and fire rings of debris, and general cleanup of debris and misplaced garbage. The work schedule is five days a week (usually Thursday through Monday).

Campground: LITTLE BOULDER
Directions: The campground is located in North Central Idaho, 25 miles east of Moscow on State Highway 8. Turn south off highway onto the Park Road (road #1963) at Helmer and travel three miles south down into the Potlatch River Canyon. The campground is located on the other side of the Potlatch River.
Host Duties: Provides personalized Forest Service presence in Little Boulder Campground. Makes visitor contacts, answers questions, and assists campground users when necessary. Observes visitors and informs them if they are violating rules or regulations. Reminds campground users of Fee requirements, but is not responsible for fee monitoring (compliance). Assists district personnel maintain the campground. This includes keeping the six toilets clean and stocked with toilet paper, clearing tables and fire rings of debris, and general cleanup of debris and misplaced garbage. The work schedule is five days a week (usually Thursday through Monday).

Directions: Elk Creek Campground is 45 minutes to an hour from Moscow, via highway 8. The Campground is located ½ mile north of the town of Elk River along Forest Road 1705.

Campground: POWELL
Directions: Located in North Central Idaho off of Highway 12 and in close proximity to Powell Ranger Station and Lochsa Lodge.
Total Sites: 35 plus picnic area
Campground Services Provided to Hosts: Campground has full hook-ups including electricity; phone is near-by at Powell Ranger Station or Lochsa Lodge; reimbursement of up to $50.00 per month for propane expenses and a stipend.
Host Duties: Provides assistance and information to Forest visitors, cleans campground toilets and replenishes with supplies as needed, cleans litter from campsites and cleans out fireplaces as needed, does fee compliance checks to see that visitors pay required fees and reports problems to appropriate District personnel. May also assist district personnel with other campground maintenance, like mowing and weedeating, if desired. Assists with the National Recreation Reservation Service. The work schedule is five days a week (usually Thursday through Monday).

Campground: Washington Creek
Directions: From Orofino, follow Highway 12 seven miles East to the Highway 11 junction at Greer. Follow Highway 11 past Weippe Id to the Forest Road 250 junction about 1/2 mile before entering Pierce Id. Follow Forest Road 250 thirty two miles to the junction with Forest Road 247 located immediately after crossing the North Fork of the Clearwater at the old Bungalow Ranger Station site. Follow Forest Road 247 about 5 miles to Washington Creek Campground.
Total Sites: 26
Campground Services Provided to Hosts: Hosts receive $15 per day subsistence allowance, 5 days per week, $.31 per mile once a week to Orofino for groceries (trip must actually be made), one free campsite for an RV and free propane. A government vehicle is provided for use while performing host duties.
Host Duties: Provide assistance and information to Forest visitors, clean campground toilets and replenish with supplies as needed, clean litter from campsites, clean out fireplaces as needed, do fee compliance checks to see that visitors pay required fee, report problems to appropriate District personel. Carry out similar duties at Weitas Creek and Aquarius Campgrounds one to two times per week. These campgrounds are located 10 miles SE and 18 miles NW of Washington Creek Campground respectively.

Campground Services Provided to Hosts: Campground has vault toilets and hand pump for water; reimbursement of up to $50.00 per month for propane expenses and $15 / day per couple.

Campground: WILDERNESS GATEWAY
Directions: Located in North Central Idaho, 120 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho and 100 miles west of Missoula, Montana on State Highway 12 at milepost 121.
Total Sites: 91 ( 4 loops in campground. Loop A is reserved for group camping. Loops B and C are family camping units and Loop D is for visitors camping with stock.)

a stipend, mileage reimbursement for
miles driven in performance of duties at campground and, if necessary, to
Kooskia Ranger Station and back once per week for groceries, free RV campsite,
propane, and gas to power a generator.
