Aaron has a B.S in Forestry from HSU, including research in ecology and silviculture in his studies. Aaron worked as a forester for Massachusetts where he cruised timber and studied forest regeneration. As a Masters student Aaron studied landscape architecture at UMass and in Scotland at the Edinburgh College of Art.
Prior to joining the CUFR Aaron spent three years working in the private sector as a landscape architect on urban streetscape and development forestry projects in the United Kingdom, Quatar, and Bahrain. At the Center, Aaron is focused on describing the ecosystem services and other benefits of urban forests and further quantifying those benefits.
