Research Interests/Duties
Chris is a plant ecologist at PSW-Fresno, for the Kings River Experimental Watershed (KREW). His research interests include management effects on vegetation, environmental drivers of plant communities, sustainable forestry, and restoration ecology. Chris is currently addressing the effects of thinning treatments on riparian and upland plant communities for KREW. He established 170 permanent transects throughout the watersheds and re-censuses every year. Chris also monitors and maintains four permanent meteorology stations for KREW.
