Research Interests/Duties

Manage the research and education activities within the Hawaii Experimental Tropical Forest (HETF) and oversee operations for its associated facilities. Public and State and County government liaison for HETF related matters. The HETF is managed in conjunction with the State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources.

Current Emphases, Studies, Projects

Facilities construction and planning including NEPA compliance, natural resource management planning, and fostering opportunities to engage the public in research, education and demonstration on the HETF.
