Research Interests/Duties

I am interested in a wide range of topics, from species traits within and across communities, to plant-animal interactions, to long-term ecological dynamics on a landscape scale and the resilience of socio-ecological systems.

Current Emphases, Studies, Projects

Developing novel ecosystems that optimize carbon storage, native biodiversity, and human mobility in lowland Hawaiian forests. Project funded by the Department of Defense, Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP).
