Research Interests/Duties

Shannon completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Horticulture and Urban Forestry from the University of California, Davis in 2009. Her emphasis was in Floriculture and Nursery Production Management. She will begin graduate school in Fall of 2009 at the same institution in the graduate group of Horticulture and Agronomy. Her Master's research will focus on environmental effects on floriculture crops. Her job at CUFR as a Biological Science Technician has given her a great opportunity to explore the various areas of research within forestry and to expand her knowledge about urban systems.
