Research Interests/Duties

Chelsea Wu joined the Department of Land, Air, and Water Resources at UC Davis as a Post-doctoral researcher in April 2006. She has been working at the Center for Urban Forest Research on urban tree canopy cover assessment using GPS, GIS and RS techniques, including developing a special algorithm to determine available tree planting spaces for the Million Trees LA initiative. She is particularly interested in spatial modeling using a variety of techniques.
