YMCA of the Rockies

The MTNCLIM 2012 Conference will be held at the YMCA of the Rockies - Estes Park Center in Estes Park, Colorado.

Lodging

We have reserved the Emerald Mountain Lodge. All rooms have two queen-sized double beds. Rates are $139.00/night single-occupancy, and $94.50/night double-occupancy. Rates include meals. As of 9/17, rooms and the package plan are still available. To reserve, call the reservation number 800-777-9622 and mention our group name, MTNCLIM.

Transportation

YMCA Estes Park Center is 75 miles northwest of Denver. Drive time is approximately 1.5 - 2 hours in good road and traffic conditions. Address is: 2515 Tunnel Road, Estes Park, Colorado, 80511. There is a shuttle from Denver airport to Estes Park that stops at the YMCA ($85/person 2-way). Airport shuttle information and booking website is www.estesparkshuttle.com. Note: the shuttle has extended their summer service schedule through Oct 8th despite what their website may say. Also, the YMCA has a shuttle to/from Estes Park town center.

Meals

Lodging includes meals from dinner on October 1 through lunch on October 4th. We will eat in the YMCA Spruce dining hall for all meals except two dinners for which we will have a reserved dining room and banquet.


Extra notes:

Those who wish to attend the conference, but not stay at the YMCA, will have the option to purchase meals ala carte. A use-fee of $15/day will also apply.

GSA (federal) per diem rates for 2012 (Larimer County, Colorado) are $84 lodging and $56 M&IE.

The lodge has internet access and intermittent cell-phone reception.
