Location and Lodging
You can get to the meeting by flying to the Los Angeles, Ontario, John Wayne (Orange County) or Palm Springs international airports. Then take a cab, shuttle or rent a car to Riverside. If you fly to Ontario and stay in Mission Inn, the hotel has a complimentary shuttle service for their guests.
We have reserved (at the greatly reduced prices) prime lodging in
Riverside for the meeting and at Sequoia National Park.

September 14-15 field trip: Sequoia / Kings Canyon National Parks
Trip participants are responsible for making their own lodging reservations for the nights of September 14 and 15, 2006. For reservation please mention that you are participating in the International Union of Forest Research Organizations tour.
We have made preliminary reservations for blocks of rooms in the following lodges:

- Montecito Sequoia Lodge: $105/night per person in double rooms with private bathrooms; $85/night per person in a multiple occupancy room, and $149/night single room.
