Telemetry
data was collected from spring of through fall for the years
1993 through 1996. It is stored in a text-based table that
includes more than 287,000 observations acquired from animals
in a natural setting. Taken as a whole this dataset constitutes
one of the richest animal telemetry datasets ever gathered.
The frequency of data-gathering activity suggests many
possibilities for additional analysis.
The habitat data
lists one row of environmental and ecological vabiables for
each of the 85,969 pixels in a fixed 30 m x 30 m grid that
covers the entire Starkey Experimental Forest and Range.
Both of these data
tables can be imported into any standard relational database
framework.
