The research of the Forest Genetics Team is primarily focused upon the genetics of both natural and managed forest populations.

We have identified three general problem areas for research by the Forest Genetics Team (see list below). Specific study plans are written for each study. The general problem areas and specific studies are chosen based on the Team’s history, capabilities and strengths; scientists’ interests; client demands; the importance of the issues; and available funding.
