Principal Investigators: Numerous authors (Editors: Ray Jaindl
& Thomas Quigley)
Cooperating scientists from several agencies and Universities have
developed synthesis
papers that describe existing scientific knowledge on natural resources
in the Blue Mountains. The synthesis process has led to the development
of an integrated, landscape-level research and development framework.
The subject areas covered by the effort include forest productivity
and protection, wood utilization, timber products, sustainable forest
and range management, economic and social aspects, fish, riparian
and water quality, wildlife and biodiversity.
