Crystal Raymond
My research interests include the effects of disturbances and climate change on forest ecosystems. I am especially interested in:
- Understanding how climate change will interact with disturbance regimes to shape forest ecosystems of the future; and
- Developing practical strategies and tactics that land management can use to increase the resilience of forest ecosystems to climate change.
My current project is the facilitation of the North Cascadia Adaptation Partnership (NCAP), a Forest Service--National Park Service collaboration to develop a vulnerability assessment and climate change adaptation plan for a 6-million acre landscape in Washington.
