Alex Maranghides

Alex Maranghides is a fire protection engineer with the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Fire Research Division. His close collaboration with FERA's research combusion engineer, Ruddy Mell (formerly of NIST), continues with work on several projects as he splits his time between Maryland and Washington.

Alex is the principle investigator on the Joint Fire Science Program's project "Evaluating the Effectiveness of Mitigation Activities in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI)."
