Before you use a photo series, it is important to read the Notes to Users section in front of the series.  For example, in the Southeast sand hill series, the Notes to Users specify that sampling occurred before leaf flush and represent leaf-off conditions.  If you were using the photo series during summer months, you would need to adjust your estimates accordingly.
