Step 9: Editing Ground Fuels Data
Enter the following ground fuel characteristics on the Ground Fuels page.

  • Use the FCCS 23 default for percent rotten wood (%) on the duff page.

  • There is only an upper duff layer at this field site.  Click the check box next to Not Present under Lower duff layer to clear existing values.

  • Accept the default entries on the Squirrel middens (which are not present) and Basal Accumulations pages.
