• Boundary Fire Burns Near FROSTFIRE (7/04) -- The Boundary fire near Fairbanks affected the Caribou-Poker Creeks Research Watershed (CPCRW), the location of FROSTFIRE. It was a very large fire, burning over 500,000 acres (over 2000 km2). A complete assessment of the fire severity has not been completed.
