Here are some photos of the process involved in photographing and collecting data that goes into a natural fuels photo series. Each individual photo series contains notes that offer specific information on that individual series, including data collection techniques.

DIGITAL PHOTO SERIES
The digital photo series takes advantage of data collected for published photo series and takes advantage of technology to create a software application that includes a fuels database allowing users to search, browse, compare and format output for other fire science software. It complements, but does not replace, the paper and ink versions available now and in the future.
