Fuel Characteristic Classification
System (FCCS)
The
Fuel Characteristic Classification System (FCCS) is available
for downloading and use on personal computers to calculate
fuel characteristics and fire potential in fuelbeds.
The FCCS is being demonstrated on the Okanogan-Wenatchee
National Forests and work continues to integrate it with LANDFIRE.
