Incorporation of FCCS Fuelbed Layers into the Wildland Fire Assessment Tool

The Wildland Fire Assessment Tool (WFAT) incorporates the Fuel Characteristic Classification System (FCCS) as an alternative to fuel loading models. This tool derives fire behavior characteristics that would potentially occur under user-specified environmental conditions. WFAT provides an interface between ArcMap, FlamMap 5, and either First Order Fire Effects Model (FOFEM) or FCCS, combining their strengths into a spatial fire effects analysis tool.
